As the Barbie movie is about to make a big, long-awaited entrance into theatres, the premiere was held yesterday, giving us some memorable outfits to go through.
The pink carpet has seen some great outfits worthy of being part of a collection made by Mattel. Starting with the spectacular Shay Mitchell, who wore a doll-style Shu Shu Tong Studio dress. The actress and businesswoman looked like an authentic Barbie. Also leaving everyone speechless was Barbie Mermaid, played by Dua Lipa, who went to the carpet with an incredible Bottega Veneta mesh, emulating the vibe of the scales of the mermaid’s tail.
The event’s big stars, Barbie and Ken, were at the center of everyone’s attention, giving the sensation of not having left the screen. Ryan Gosling wore a Gucci suit in the iconic color of the Barbie universe, pink. Margot Robbie decided to take a trip back in time to the 1960s. The gown the actress chose was a custom-made Schiaparelli, a recreation of the dress worn by the special edition of Barbie from “Solo Spotlight” in the 60s.
