Today one of the biggest challenges we face, as we all know, is climate change, a problem whose only solution is the one that comes from the result of joint efforts. Thus, About You, YNap, and Zalando have sought to unite strengths to develop an educational initiative to address the issue of climate change. The project between these three brands is now in its second year of partnership, an initiative called "Fashion Leap for Climate."
The trio's initiative comprises a co-created platform involving brands interested in collaborating for a sustainable purpose toward a better future. In its beginnings, the platform allowed brands to measure their carbon footprint to set more sustainable goals. While the platform originally had 55 brands, in its second year of collaboration, the expansion has invited 250 to join the movement.
According to its educational and expansion plan, the platform seeks to go beyond just informing. These three industry giants are now looking to create a more excellent and more flexible value by providing not only information but also education. They seek to achieve this goal by offering the platform to a broader range of companies and offering an eight-week course to educate on the sustainability needed to tackle the change the world needs.
