Luxury fashion brand Moschino recently introduced a unique collection featuring bags shaped like baguettes and croissants. However, the French audience did not find the concept as charming as expected, leading to a backlash on social media platforms.
Critics pointed out that the bags' resemblance to bakery items did not align with the French preference for traditional bread. The online community ridiculed the designs, emphasizing that they preferred the taste and affordability of authentic baguettes. Moreover, the bags were priced at a staggering €795, equivalent to 900 baguettes.
Despite the criticism, the high price reflects Moschino's brand value, with each bag adorned with a gold-plated logo. Crafted entirely from leather in Italy, the baguette bag features a magnetic closure for convenience. In contrast, the croissant bag can be worn as a shoulder bag and carried under the arm.
This unique collection showcases Moschino's commitment to originality, evident in its distinctive creations. Alongside the baguette and croissant bags, the brand offers a minaudière designed like a lighter, structured pocket resembling mirrors, and even unconventional items like a biker jacket, a cup, and a stereo speaker.
