Green Passion at Watches & Wonders 2024

If you didn't expect green to be a standout color in watches for 2024, take a look at what Watches & Wonders Geneva has to offer.

Green dials and straps were everywhere at Watches & Wonders Geneva, adorning sports watches, dress watches, everyday wear, and even complicated timepieces. From zesty lime and citrus tones to pale mint and seafoam green, and even bold racing greens and vintage military hues, the spectrum of greens was vast. While it wasn't the only highlighted color at this year's highly anticipated event, it was undoubtedly a dominant trend. Here are eight exceptional green watches that made their debut during the week in Geneva.

A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon Honeygold Lumen

Okay, in its daytime look, the new A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon Honeygold Lumen offers a seductive smoky gray/black appeal, thanks to the sapphire dial plate and skeletonized movement. However, this new watch, the sixth in the brand's beloved Lumen series, glows intensely in green when exposed to light, thanks to its luminescent power reserve.

The luminous elements: day, date, moonphase discs, subsidiary chronograph dials, hands, and accents all light up, powered by an in-house manual-winding caliber (L952.4). This watch offers a tourbillon escapement, split-seconds chronograph, flyback chronograph, minute counter, perpetual calendar, and date, all wrapped in the brand's proprietary honey gold. Only 50 pieces of this 41.5mm watch will be made.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Tourbillon Double Peripheral

This year, Carl F. Bucherer releases its beloved patented Manero Tourbillon Double Peripheral watch in new bold colors with exquisite laser-cut dials and gem-set bezels. Without a doubt, the standout watch is the vibrant green version. The dial is made using a high-tech laser process that creates individual triangles with a three-dimensional beauty, featuring peaks and valleys. The tops of the triangles have a lighter tone, while the base, the grooves between the pyramids, is darker. The bright dial boasts a large aperture at 12 o'clock to showcase the Tourbillon, and the watch is powered by the brand's patented double peripheral automatic winding technology in the Calibre CFB T3000. The bezel is set with 4.7 carats of tsavorites. Each watch measures 43mm in diameter and is crafted in 18k gold, finished with a sustainable matching-colored strap made from PET materials. $158,500.

Cartier Santos Arabic

Crafted in platinum, the new Cartier Santos Arabic watch focuses on telling time with elegance. The intense green dial is offset with dark green bezel and details to achieve a chic and purely retro urban style. The watch, with sword-shaped hands, is finished with a matching green alligator strap. It measures a very wearable 39.5mm in diameter and is powered by the mechanical Cartier 430 MC movement with 43 hours of power reserve. $21,900.
