The Viktor&Rolf Fall/Winter Haute Couture show has not left any of its attendees indifferent. We could spot known faces such as Heart Evangelista, Shakira, or Camila Cabello among the outstanding attendees. However, not the list of attendees leaves us more perplexed by the runway show, but the pieces of the collection "Late Stage Capitalism Waltz."

The collection presented a scenario worthy of a piece from the surrealist movement. The pieces were transformed in every possible way; some were not worn by the models but floated next to them. The surrealist artwork represented a scene similar to that of a wedding. However, this ceremony was far from being anything close to traditional.

The guests attended a wedding where the models, the brides, were accompanied by non-existent grooms in which the big dresses were transformed into bikinis that seemed to come out of other dimensions. The bride's arms never found the groom; instead, the grooms were on the model's shoulders, at her side, or hugging her in an attempt not to let her go. One could even see a pile of bodies on a model, who advanced with a firm and sure step without letting the phantom husbands let her stay behind.

As in every wedding, the answer to the big question could not be missed, embodied by particular gowns in the collection. However, the Viktor&Rolf pieces did not respond with a " Yes, I do." Their fabrics, on the contrary, expressed a clear and striking "NO." Could that be the reason behind the husbands' desperate staging?
