Summer is here, and the long-awaited "Prada Summer Kit Box" comes with it. This summer kit measures 71 x 51.5 x 22cm and weighs about 6kg. The box is covered with a wave print, a white Nylon logo, and a slogan on one of the sides that reads "Sea Beyond." This summer's box is big, but even more significant is the purpose it hides inside.
The fashion brand has prepared a special box for this summer in collaboration with UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. The first Sea Beyond project took place in 2020. In the words of Prada, "The project explored the theme of ocean awareness and its values, the issue of plastic-related pollution of the marine environment, and the fashion industry's contribution to sustainable production practices for the benefit of the seas."
Inspired by the beautiful project, this summer's kit contains 10 recycled bags for non-biodegradable waste with a beautiful red Prada logo made in Nylon. It also includes one of the iconic Prada Raffia beach bags that have been an icon of this summer, with its black logo and a dark blue re-nylon pouch with the logo in the triangle form. Yet, we could not crown this summer without the most significant essential to complete the looks, a pair of black sunglasses with white logos so we all can "Sea beyond."
