Valentino Steps Into The Metaverse

The haute couture brand Valentino enters the Metaverse. Valentino has been characterized in recent years for wanting to increase its virtual presence and adapt to new technologies and worlds that have been created. The company led by Pierpaolo Piccioli has chosen to enter the universe of Meta and dress the different avatars of the Californian company. The outfits will be offered in the Meta Avatars Store, thus equipping the avatars of this new world.

This is not the first step taken by the Roman brand towards virtual worlds, as in 2020, we already saw how the company chose to dress the characters of the famous video game Animal Crossing. Meta is now a new step in the company towards this new infinity of opportunities. The company follows in the footsteps of brands like Prada or Balenciaga, who have already launched their looks in the virtual store, leaving the footprints of their brands beyond our reality.

These first designs offered for Web3 include garments inspired by and highly similar to the brand's real-life collections. We can see six avatars of both men and women wearing garments with big Vs., ace-style blouses, shorts, etc. This collection, of course, could not miss the iconic red color of Valentino, which undoubtedly, since July 14, has marked all social networks of Zuckerberg's group, where this innovative and uplifting collection is available.
