London-based designer Selene Sarı has created Vox Aeris, a unique air purifier that also functions as a speaker. Vox Aeris combines air purification and music in a harmonious dual-purpose design.
Air quality is a significant concern as we spend most of our time indoors, and indoor air can be more polluted than outdoor air. Vox Aeris is designed to address this issue by offering three modes of operation: cleaning, listening, and Vox mode. It purifies the air using a scientific process called agglomeration, which causes particles to group together. The device's internal fans and speaker generate turbulence and low-frequency sounds that facilitate this process, pushing air particles into a recyclable filter for purification.
The product features dials that control both the speaker's sound and the air purifier's settings. It can be plugged into the wall but also has an internal battery for portable outdoor use.
Selene Sarı aims to make air purification more accessible and integrated into daily life by combining it with music. Vox Aeris provides an affordable and engaging alternative to traditional air purifiers, focusing on recyclable fabric filters and a user-friendly design.
