For this year's theme, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," the supermodel joined forces with designer Thom Browne to grace the red carpet in an ensemble that epitomized elegance and artistry.
Hadid's look for the evening was a breathtaking creation by Browne, featuring an off-the-shoulder corset dress in pristine white. The garden of yellow roses, artfully splashed across Hadid's attire, featured thorn appliqués and took an additional 8,500 hours to embroider by a team of 40 artisans. The corset dress itself was a marvel of craftsmanship, with 2.8 million micro bugle beads hand-embroidered onto it over 5,000 hours by a team of 20 artisans.
Reflecting on her experience wearing the ensemble, Hadid expressed her admiration for the incredible workmanship that went into creating it. Holding just one of the 3D roses, she marveled at the intricate details and the dedication of the artisans. With pride, she walked the red carpet, knowing the immense effort behind her attire.
Hadid's stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, drew inspiration from garden statues wrapped in plants, aiming to create a look that echoed the elegance of ancient Italian gardens. Yellow jewelry was chosen to complement the ensemble, reflecting the beautiful tones of sunlight against stone.
